    66So, I believe we should just leave it to the distributors to ship patched versions of the libraries we rely on rather than trying to workaround the issue (not even sure it is possible to do so)

     10I have now created a [http://twistedmatrix.com/trac/ticket/4829 twisted bug] since apparently pygtk/glib have already been fixed so the problem seems to lie with twisted... (also does not occur on win32)
