What it does
Window Switch is a tool which allows you to display running applications on other computers than the one you start them on.
Once an application has been started via a winswitch server,
it can be displayed on other machines running winswitch client, as required.
You no longer need to save and send documents to move them around,
simply move the view of the application to the machine where you need to access it.
The easiest way to explain what it does is to see it in action, here.

Features
It uses a number of open-source tools to make it easy to connect network computers to individual applications rather than simply at the file, network or display level.
Window Switch is the glue that ties all this together.» more features
Example Use Cases

- Easily start sessions on remote servers via a secure shell (
SSH
) - Provide access to the thousands of quality open-source applications to other (less fortunate) users on the network.
