Description
I downloaded and installed 0.12.4 on my OSX client. There used to be a right-hand-side "tray" menu that I don't see anymore. I can find no way to run applications and Winswitch is unusable.
There are now some left-hand side menus ("Servers", "Windows", "Desktops") that I don't recall from before. Maybe they're meant to replace the tray menu?
- Under "Servers", "New Connection" and <myserver> work.
- Under "Windows", "Start Application" doesn't do anything. This is the only item in the "Windows" menu.
- Under "Desktops", "Start Desktop" doesn't do anything. "Main Unix Display on <server>" does bring up a dialog.

Sorry. After a reboot "Start Application" and "Start Desktop" DO bring up working dialogs.
- The old menus were nicer. It's not important if they're in the tray. But the multiple selections in the dialog are a pain.
- The "Bookmark" checkbox doesn't seem to do anything.

The tray menu has been removed because it cannot be made to work reliably until an upstream GTK bug is fixed, details here - good news is that work is in progress on that.
The left-hand side menus have always been there, you probably never noticed them because you just used the tray.
I'll see what I can do to re-arrange the menus so as to provide more direct dialogs, with fewer options.
The bookmark option does do something, but it's currently just too hard to find, I'll make it a top level entry or menu so it is easier to access.
Thanks a lot for all the feedback.

v0.12.5 released today adds a bookmark menu for easy access.
If and when GTK is fixed (seems stalled), I will restore the tray menu on OSX..

GTK is not getting fixed (the GTK bug entry has not been updated in over a year)
It just occurred to me that I upgraded my Ubuntu server at the same time, so I don't know which end is broken!
