what I said is meant to apply only to desktop sessions -- makes sense?

Summary: | closing client window should detach not stop session → closing client window should detach not stop desktop session |
for desktop sessions it would make sense...
We could add a --close=[close|disconnect]
switch to xpra and use it from winswitch automatically for desktop sessions.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
No, this has been covered ad-nauseum before, see for example: does xpra raise windows? (mailing list discussion)
(I assume you mean that closing a window on the client should not result in xpra forwarding the request to close the window to the real application running on the server - if not, feel free re-open, note: this is not the tracker for xpra..)
